I am a star wars costumer and unapolagetic brony; I hate modern installments of my favorite franchises (I have morrowind in my xbox and ff8 in my ps2 right this second). I've been developing a fantasy world called Oxidia for years, and it's getting dense to the point that I've started an almanac of sorts, a 'Hitchhiker's guide'; partly for my own benefit, to keep track of everything.
I have a publishing contract for my current project, but I will prove to be the laziest person you have ever met.

I am Joe. I am a failed/failing writer. Sorta. I am halfway decent when I can sit down and do it, but with the way life works, I get caught up in other things. I am a big fan of sci-fi and fantasy. I find I am better at editing others' works than I am sitting down and writing my own stuff. If I had connections, I would try to be a critic or professional editor, but that's not an easy thing to get into. I have been slowly working on my own fantasy novel for about a year now, without much to show for it, but hey, it ain't happening overnight.

It's probably a dickmove, but I am looking forward to doing the weekly exercises as a personal competition. Not to rub into anyone's faces, but to challenge myself and try to make me better by working so I can try to BE better than others. Without any malice. God I sound like an ass.

I might also work on a weird project while here that will likely be sappy/pathetic/make sense to no one but me, but it's something I have been meaning to do as a sort of self therapy. Might be best to ignore it. I am running out of things to say.

I suppose I should introduce myself too, anyone here would know me as either Seana, Niyenah, or Kyt. I love to write though I suppose I should write more and rp less...nonsense, right? I really would like to be a published author, probably in my guilty pleasure section: YA paranormal ^^ I have been telling stories since I can remember and I definitively have a preference for the darker side of faeries and modern horror (though thanks to Twilight I've lost any and every desire to write about vampires). I make a lot of typos and I can't spell for beans but I do seem to have a natural voice in my writing and a big enough ego that I should be a float in the Macy's Day Parade.

I want to grow up to become a female Richard Castle or Indiana Jones...whichever comes first

I have been dealing with one hell of a case of writers block for nearly five or six years. Attempting to overcome it. Here's hopin'... right? Anyway I write/wrote mostly poetry and sometimes I'd dabble in short story and collaboration writing. I also write erotica and have a decent knack for it. Not creepy at all. For now I can link to the sites where my erotica is posted for others to read/enjoy. Feel free to critique if you'd like. Tho I am already aware in a couple of them I have some typos and word hiccups so to speak, I simply haven't gotten around to fixing them At least this way I'll be sharing something.

I got around that by setting it as my website, in my profile. I don't know if it would be as ideal if you don't own the site, and need to navigate to your stuff.

Weird on the link thing, i don't think that's a thing I can change. That's one of the things I was going to do once I got around to writing up some guidelines for submissions like if it's above a certain rating to post a Content Warning or something in the title so people have a choice and/or aren't surprised

One of the reasons I liked it ^_^ Speaking of Elphaba I still need to at some point finish that mask I painted it's hanging on my wall but still need to think of what I wanna do hat wise.
